Wedding: Melissa & John – Happily Ever After Has Already Begun

Melissa is the youngest sister in her family.  I have known her brother since the 90’s from church.  Last year her twin sister, Alicia, also got married and I had the honour to be her wedding photographer as well.

It’s always a bonus to photograph someone you know for a long time.  All the simple gestures and conversations from the couple and their families make me feel like I am part of the guests attending the wedding instead of just a hired vendor.

Not only did Melissa stand out in my mind, her groom John was also a star.  When I met him for the first time before the wedding, I was already captivated by his considerate and polite demeanor. Through the emotional speeches of his best man and his brother, I came to know that John is very supportive of family and friends no matter what situation.  What an admirable character.

Melissa,  I am so happy for you that you have found such a dependable man with shoulders you can lean on for the rest of your life.  Wishing you both happily ever after although I already know that the wish has come true.
